The owner of this Sea Hunt Triton 186 was looking for some more top end speed as he was giving the boat a birthday with the repower as well as a few other additions to the boat over recent years. The boat was repowered with a Mercury 3.0L 150hp EFI Four Stroke, which now pushes the boat along at a top speed of 40 knots at WOT with two adults on board.

The old gauges have been removed and replaced with new Mercury Smartcraft gauges, providing the owner with an engine management system and a vast range of engine data for him to view whilst out on the water.

Most impressive is the mid range fuel economy which sees the boat achieving 2.4km/l – The outboard has been paired with a Mercury Enertia 17 P Stainless Steel Propeller which has the boat reving out to around 5800 RPM
