Mandurah Outboards has just completed a repower on this 2006 model Trailcraft 6.6m Runabout. The boat is predominately used for offshore fishing and towing the kids around ski biscuits.  

The boat was originally fitted with a Mercury 150hp Two Stroke, when the outboard was removed from the boat it was still in very good working condition, a testimate to the brand and how the owner looked after his boat. It was however time to reep the benefits of four stroke ownership.  

With the new Mercury 3.4L V6 200hp DTS EFI Four Stroke, this boat reached a top speed of 41 knots which is absolutely ample in a boat of this size. Like any Mercury repower, the owner of this boat has turn key EFI technology at his fingertips, a fuel efficient, smooth, quite and reliable outboard for many years to come ! There is also the added benefit of fly by wire controls, removing the need for control cables and instead having ultra smooth throttle + shift. 

The outboard was packaged with a Vessel View 403 screen and sea star hydraulic steering.
