Mandurah Outboards has just completed a repower on this 2000 model Quintrex 475 BayHunter Caprice. There must be hundreds of these 475 BayHunter's throughout Western Australia. They are easy to handle for 1 - 2 people and can be used in bays, rivers and estuaries quite comfortably. 

Mandurah Outboards removed the Johnson 70hp Two Stroke which was originally fitted to the boat, we have provided this boat with a new lease of life by repowering it with a Mercury 60hp EFI Four Stroke.

With the new Mercury 60hp EFI Four Stroke, this boat reached a top speed of 27 knots which is absolutely ample in a boat of this size. Like any Mercury repower, the owner of this boat has turn key EFI technology at his fingertips, a fuel efficient, smooth, quite and reliable outboard for many years to come ! 

The outboard was packaged with Mercury's standard side mount control box and analogue gauge cluster. 

At 4000 RPM the boat was travelling at 17 knots and achieving 3.6 KM/L - Meaning you would have a range of approximatly 150km out of the boats 50 L fuel tank.
