Mandurah Outboards removed twin Evinrude 150hp Two Stroke outboards which had done a fair bit of work and repowered the boat with a pair of Mercury 150hp EFI Four Strokes.

The Mercury 150hp EFI Four Stroke is a 3.0L engine with a whole lot of punch, it is a great engine because it can suit a number of applications from casual cruising, offshore fishing right through to skiing. Mandurah Outboards paired the outboards with the Mercury Smartcraft SC1000 gauges, having undertaken some modifications to the existing dash allowing us to install a new control box and the Mercury SC1000 digital gauges.

As well as the outboard repower Mandurah Outboards installed a new Garmin 7” GPS/Sounder combination in to the boat, we also re-wired the battery system to make it more presentable and safer, we also installed a digital fuel sender so fuel usage data can be read through the SC1000 gauges.
